**Job Title: System Administrator**

**Job Type: Contract - 12 Months (Extendable)**

**Working hours : Mon - Thu 8.30am to 5.45pm, Fri 8.30am to 5.15pm**

**Location: West, Singapore**

**(This is an outsourced role)
**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Perform and monitor regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Perform patch management activities for all servers and virtual infrastructure.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and systems performance.
- Ensure systems uptime in accordance to the organization’s requirements.
- Ensure all incidents, service requests, and change requests are logged, documented in ITSM, and fulfilled within stipulated SLA.
- Remediate vulnerabilities arising from vulnerability scans within the timeline specified in the organization’s vulnerability management framework.
- Perform project roll-outs and deployments.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

**Relevant Experience**
- At least 3 years of experience in systems administration in Windows Server 2016 and above
- At least 2 years of experience in the administration of SharePoint 2013 or later and SharePoint Online
- At least 2 years of experience in administration of virtual infrastructures such as VMware or Nutanix.
- Strong knowledge of IT operations best practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Experience in Windows Server 2012 upgrade to later versions.

Experience in any of the following is an added advantage
- OpenVMS and Itanium servers
- Oracle Application Servers (AS)
- Ubuntu 18.04 and above
- RHEL 7 and above
- Citrix NetScaler’s and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attitude and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently or in a team with mínimal supervision.

**Functional Competencies**
- IT certifications in the following are an added advantage:

- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Linux Professional Institute Certifications (LPIC)
- Red Hat Certifications (RHCE)
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
