- **Architect and Develop Middleware Solutions**:Design and implement robust middleware architectures that facilitate efficient data exchange and integration across various platforms, enhancing the functionality of Rapsodo's sports technology products.
- **Collaborate Across Teams**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, data analytics, and product management, to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable middleware solutions that align with business objectives.
- **Ensure Security and Compliance**: Implement robust security measures and ensure middleware solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, safeguarding sensitive sports performance data.
- **Mentor and Lead**: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the middleware engineering team.
- **Stay Abreast of Technological Advances**: Keep up-to-date with emerging middleware technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for new tools and practices to enhance our technology stack.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**: Master’s or PH.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- **Professional Experience**: Minimum of 8 years of experience in middleware engineering or software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- **Technical Expertise**:Proficiency in middleware technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MuleSoft, and experience with programming languages like Java, C#, or Python.
- **Integration Knowledge**:Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and API management.
- **Cloud and Containerization**: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a track record of resolving complex middleware issues.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
