**Key Responsibilities**:

- Network Design and Implementation: Participate in the design and deployment of network architectures that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, high availability, and security.
- Network Configuration: Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Ensure network devices are up-to-date and in compliance with best practices.
- Network Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve network issues. Monitor network performance and make necessary improvements.
- Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls, using security-by-design framework.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve network-related incidents, such as connectivity issues, routing problems, and performance degradation.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
- Network Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance and efficiency. Implement changes to enhance network reliability and speed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure that network requirements align with business objectives.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with network service providers and vendors to resolve issues and enhance network services. Capacity Planning: Assess network capacity requirements and plan for future growth. Recommend necessary upgrades and expansions.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of professional experience in network engineering.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, VPNs, and routing/switching.
- Experience with network equipment and technologies from vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
