Our client is a reputable Global B2B Manufacturing business in Asia, with exciting growth plans in the next 10 years and beyond. They are market leaders in the design, development and manufacturing of a variety of innovative consumer centric products globally.
The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain management capabilities, and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.
Reporting to Supply Chain Director, and this position will be focusing on the below:
- Work with cross functional supply chain teams to drive end to end optimal Supply Chain Process Excellence in order to support business and operations expansion and growth plans
- Spearhead continuous process improvements across both upstream and downstream Supply Chain initiatives, not limited to Demand/Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Order Fulfilment as well as Warehousing & Distribution activities etc
- Actively collaborate with Asia and Global sites to ensure optimal demand forecast and supply balance management, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia by means of introducing effective replenishment planning processes etc. to ensure on time delivery to retail stores and assigned customers
- Strategize supply allocation management to deliver cost synergies and related optimization to support Supply Chain Transformation
- Conceptualize & drive other Supply Chain programmes to streamline or ensure smooth and optimized workflow for manufacturing sites globally etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or related International Business Management experiences in a complex Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment
- Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework
- Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Supply Chain KPIs such as OTIF, lead time, inventory, cost-savings etc
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to important stakeholdersGood understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
