Assistant Accountant, Procure to Pay

What you’ll do:

- Responsible for all key aspects of the Global procure to pay function (including processes for inventory accounting)
- Provide leadership, guidance, resource planning and staff development to the team members
- Review and supervise the team for reconciliations, reports, schedules and Statement of Accounts
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and queries from internal and external parties
- Ensure procedures are in compliance with prevailing corporate policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all payment transactions are complete, accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Manage monthly and year-end AP closing
- Ensure timely tax submission (GST/Withholding tax)
- Actively reviewing, standardizing, streamlining and improving procure to pay processes, identifying areas of improvement and automation
- Review and handle exceptions for various systems (Robotic Process Automation, supplier invoice interface system IVI, Coupa, Concur)
- Prepare ad hoc reports and lead/participate in projects as assigned
- Support and respond to Internal and External audit

What we’re looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
- At least 4 years relevant working experience, preferably from a MNC environment
- CPA or CA licenses are desired
- Must be proficient in MS Excel/computer savvy, SAP experience is an advantage
