Takeda's Singapore biologics manufacturing facility focuses on manufacturing potentially life-saving medicines for patients suffering from rare blood disorders such as Hemophilia A and B. As part of the company’s Biologics Operating Unit network, the site is Takeda’s only biologics drug substance manufacturing facility in Asia. The facility has two buildings, including manufacturing suites and laboratories, as well as Takeda’s first positive energy building certified by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark scheme in 2022.

**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator II (12 months contract)**
**Location: Woodlands, Singapore**

**About the role**:

- With no supervision, manage change in Systems and processes related to Receiving, Inspections, Warehousing and Shipping activities.
- The individual is expected to ensure all relevant documentation and reports involving the change are accurate, compliant, and timely.

**How you will contribute**:
The individual will carry out cGMP operations utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Computerized Inventory Management System (JDE), and Forms.

Primary responsibilities include:

- The individual will operate in all areas of warehouse operations; namely receiving/inspection/storage, kitting of BOMs and shipment.
- Serve as a point of contact for inter-department and cross functional interactions.
- Evaluating any documentation changes that involves Receiving & Inspection, Warehousing or Shipping.
- Participate in Process change that involve Receiving & Inspection, Warehousing or Shipping.
- Lead Investigations/ Events related to Supply Chain; serve as point of contact for external interactions. with supplier and service providers.
- Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures and others department documentation as needed.
- Review and revise Risk Assessments.
- Perform Impact Assessments.
- Perform logbooks and log-sheets review and follow up.
- Develop training materials for department personnel.
- Timely purchase of consumables needed for warehouse operations.
- Ensure equipment/facilities are maintained in working condition
- Lead in stock counts/checks and inventory reconciliation.
- Accountable on all related SOPS used in the area are constantly reviewed and revised (if required) to ensure all operations are in compliance with EHS and quality attributes.
- To propose and make changes to SOPs timely when gaps are identified.
- Responsible for Alarm/Alert review and real time troubleshooting.
- Act as Training Coordinator for the Department, ensuring relevant staff is assigned the right training modules.
- Attend EHS and other cross functional meetings and cascade information to team.
- Initiate / Participate in Improvement Initiatives.
- Responsible for any incident/ report submission for the department.
- Lead issue resolution involving systems such as JDE/LIMs/TTMD.
- Backup to Supervisor during Audits.

The individual will manage equipment and support facility related projects by:

- Prioritize and ensure department target are met to support the business in compliance with EHS and quality attributes.
- As a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Assume accountability on all Logistics/cross functional projects are executed and closed timely.
- Assume accountability on timely raising and closure of Corrective Work Orders in the C3ME system.
- Assume accountability on timely raising and closure of Trackwise Events.
- Support timely closure of Change Controls.

Staff Technical Training and Development
- Ensure team members meet and maintain training requirements.
- Assume accountability on technical training are provided for team member.
- Assume accountability on development of training material and timely update of material.
- Provide annual performance self-assessment on development plan.

General Responsibilities

**What you bring to Takeda**:
Education and Experience Requirements:

- Degree in Biomedical Sciences / Chemical Engineering or related with minimum four years of relevant experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry.
- Diploma in Applied Chemistry / Biomedical Sciences / Chemical Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biologics & Process Technology / Chemical & Pharmaceutical Technology/ Food Science & Nutrition / Molecular Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Pharmacy Science or related with minimum eight years of relevant experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry.
- Nitec in Biotechnology / Chemical Process Technology or related with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiar in transactional processing in ERP and bar-code operations.
