**The Role**
The Business Controller is an important business partner integral to the existing portfolio and upcoming growth of the entire group. This role reports to both the Director of Finance and AVP Finance.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Management reporting of financial and operational performance.
- Financial planning & analysis (Budgeting, planning, cash flow management, forecasting etc).
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects.
- Conduct internal reviews and audits.
- Participate and/or lead cross-departmental initiatives.
- Assist in any M&A or pre-opening activities.
- Set up workflows and streamline processes in Finance P&P for higher productivity.
- Assist the Director of Finance in a business partnering role covering both commercial and operations topics.
- Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining finance tools, worksheets and systems.
- Create, promote and sustain a high-performance culture; continuously raise the performance bar for the finance team.
- Any other relevant duties that may arise from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s in Accountancy, CA / ACCA / CIMA.
- More than 5 years of experience in a finance team in business partnering role.
- Experience or interest in Property or Real Estate or Hotels or Hospitality.
- Growth mindset with eagerness to lead, learn and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Good time management and solutions-oriented.
- Ability to use MS Office efficiently and effectively is a must, Oracle Netsuite or Opera Cloud will be favourable.
