Customer Engineer, Networking Specialist, Google

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of experience working in a sales engineering or a customer-facing role
- Experience designing and deploying data center and Cloud network topologies for enterprises or digital natives
- Experience in Cloud networking (e.g., GCP or Hyperscaler Cloud), Interconnects, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Kubernetes networking, BGP
Preferred qualifications:
- GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification or similar certification from another cloud provider
- Experience with Operating System (e.g. Linux) networking, and designing network security and forensics solutions for protection from OWASP and DDoS attacks (e.g. Web Application Firewalls)
- Ability to influence and deliver impactful technical presentations with excellent presentation skills
**About the job**:
You'll design load balancing, CDN, hybrid-cloud, and DNS architectures. You will engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Share networking experience to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work. Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
