PURPOSE
To have a strong understanding of the general insurance market in Singapore, and provide insights and recommendations with respect to the changing needs of the organisation.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES- Develop channel business strategies for GI partnerships based on market insights and propose actionable plans to achieve sustainable growth- Identify channel business opportunities for GI partnerships based on market insights and propose actionable plans to achieve sustainable growth- Develop, manage and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new channel partners, for both offline and digital eco system partnerships- Lead and prepare commercial partnership arrangements to ensure regulatory compliance and business viability- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of business propositions- Draft and review contracts for partnerships, including obtaining the necessary approvals and signoffs- Work with IT, Ops, UI/UX and product for operationalising new GI ecosystem partnerships and ensure day to day operations and sales monitoring for existing partnerships- Manage and prepare sales reports and analysis and providing recommendations in accordance to market changes, aligning with company’s directions
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s Degree- Possess Insurance Professional Qualification- Minimum 6+ years of experience in FI- Knowledge of FA industry and GI is required- With good exposure to FA, agency and bank channels
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY- Understand the principles, practices and regulatory aspects of general insurance products- Strong analytical and presentation skills- Customer centricity, collaboration and teamwork- Proficient in both written and spoken English- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Strong stakeholder management skills- Strong negotiation skills
