**What the role is**

You will assist the DD Ops in the planning and coordination of key current operations. At this point, this entails being part of the Safe Distancing Taskforce (SDTF) Secretariat that centrally coordinates COVID-19 safe management measures (SMMs) enforcement efforts by 18 different government agencies. In addition to Covid-related duties however, you will be required to assist the DD Ops to work closely with the Stat Board (NEA, PUB and SFA) Joint Operations Divisions (JODs) to report on current and future SB operations, exercises and key events, with a view to identify and manage cross-cutting issues. You will be supported by an Assistant Director, Ops.

**What you will be working on**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assist the DD Ops to organise periodic SDTF meetings
- Produce operations reports to keep track of key SDTF enforcement cases
- Producing minutes of meetings
- Compiling Operations Summary Reports (OPSUMS) in conjunction with the SB JODs to focus on immediate past undertakings
- Keeping an Operations Log of all ops events in MSE
- Working with the SBs to produce forecasts of operational and training events up to 3 months ahead
- Collaborating across government agencies such as MOH, MHA and MTI to ensure the integration of plans for key events and periods of concern
- Disseminating important ops-based information to the SB JODs
- Participate in operational and training events and exercises as necessary
- Assist the Readiness Team as and when called upon
- Undertake secondary appointments in MSE HQ when so appointed, such as being a member in the Staff Wellbeing Committee etc.

**What we are looking for**

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in operations/planning or enforcement work. Experience in the Public Service will be an advantage.
- Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Independent, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
