Role Description
BNYM is seeking to hire a dynamic, self-motivated decision support analyst to support our non-US, International franchise. The international franchise generates ~35% of BNY Mellon’s global revenue and has the opportunity to expand further.
Decision Support as part of the International Management organization, provides support to local executives and the global businesses that operate in our non-US regions, and is critical in driving analysis, process improvement, financial analysis and controls, as well as delivering on strategic initiatives.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Coordinate and execute analysis on the various strategic and financial objectives
Assist in driving opportunities to grow the business and client revenues, including support of new products and platforms
Prepare and communicate strategy, option analysis, performance and priorities to a broad audience, including senior management
Facilitate decision making and business progression
Proactively focus on problem identification and problem solving
Drive competitive benchmarking and market analysis
Assist in planning revenues, headcount, expenses and investment initiatives
Oversight to ensure that the business is run in an efficient and controlled manner, including tracking against budgets/plans and key financial ratios and effective management of direct and indirect costs
Collaborate and partner to develop financial reporting and key MIS for decisions
Drive partnership between business and functional teams (e.g. technology, operations, HR, marketing, etc.) to achieve objectives
Partner with others in Finance & Business Management (CFOs, Business Managers, FP&A leads) across regions and businesses to share best practice and drive consistency across the bank
Support International Finance on key initiatives
Gain a reputation as a thought partner and trusted advisor

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related area
Accounting (CIMA/ACA), analytical (CFA), MBA and/or other financial professional qualification
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Good judgement, maturity and poise to enable interaction/influencing of senior management
Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
Self-starter; ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Ability to handle various aspects of the project and be able to quickly adapt to changing requirements and situations
Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls
Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure
Strong analytical and data manipulation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint
Strong project management and presentation skills
5+ years of experience post qualification/MBA in financial services preferred
