The Business Development Manager role consists of helping to define and rollout the Global Publishing offering of MOBKOI together with the Global strategy while informing and supporting the wider team. The Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia will report directly into the Global VP, Publishing and it will have the following responsibilities:
- Working with the Global VP of Supply to build a Business Development strategy for extension, diversification, and management of publisher partnership portfolio (working with premium publishers like SPH, Mediacorp, Condé Nast, Hearst, BBC, Bloomberg, Future PLC, Forbes, Bustle and hundreds more )
- Building a commercial structure with the VP to strengthen the relationships with key publishers and drive more revenues to our partners
- Growing Mobkoi’s access to premium inventory sources whilst strategically working on developing new opportunities to locally sourced publishers
- Negotiation and management of partnership agreements
- Supporting the Global Sales and Campaign Management teams
- Managing existing and developing new publisher relationships
- Pitching and management of Mobkoi Creative Studio offering
- Working with our key partners to help drive revenue and understand what their capabilities are whilst ensuring Mobkoi teams are kept up to date
- Upkeep and management of CRM to ensure all data is available to teams
- Consistently looking at ways to optimise operational efficiencies and communication between Business development team and internal stakeholders
- Establishing Mobkoi’s position in the market as the go-to supplier for premium creative builds
- Independently working on team projects and business objectives
**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Digital advertising industry (media agency, client side or digital publisher)
- A strong list of Publisher contacts across the Digital ecosystem
- Programmatic experience
- Highly Motivated to help build the business
- Great attention to detail and ability to work with a large amount of data/information
- Ability to work under pressure with tight project deadlines
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to present ideas in a clear, cohesive way
- Personable character, ability to build rapport with Publishers, as well as internal stakeholders
- Confident communicator
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, Excel is a must
