ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
This is a hands on role, responsible for all General Ledger matters for assigned legal entities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the results. The role is required to have a close partnership with other finance teams, internal key business partners as well as external audit/tax agents. In addition, the role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
THE ROLE
**In this role you will be responsible for**: Ensure accounting close of Singapore legal entities accurately and timely (per corporate deadlines) Prepare trial balances and analyze key accounts to identify unusual transactions Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliation Prepare corporate reporting (e.g. SEC reporting and analytics) following corporate deadlines Provide support and guidance to business partners on closing process, accounting treatment and internal control matters Responsible for local audit as well as internal audit for the entities assigned Responsible for quarterly GST / VAT return and annual income tax return, as well as WHT Identify and drive process improvements across the finance function Ensure compliance of Coty accounting policies, US GAAP and local GAAP Ensure proper internal control are implemented Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
