This is a planning/operational role that requires the individual to be hands-on working closely with the Transport Executive (Operations) and senior drivers team to ensure optimisation of SLEC vehicles and manpower resources, cost efficiency for all assets. There will be regular route surveys to continually assess new routes for optimization of assets. You should possess knowledge of route planning and assets maintenance.

To coordinate and manage all transportation-based planning works towards optimization of the fleet and resources to increase ridership and achieve a high return of investment on the assets. You will also be tasked to plan the maintenance program of the fleet and monitor the compliance of all planned maintenance programs to achieve a reliable and safe operating fleet of vehicles utilising a fleet maintenance system. You will report to the Transport Manager and assist him/her to achieve the necessary KPIs for a seamless and efficient transport network.

**Responsibilities**:
a) Design transport routes and operate the potential transport system.

b) Conduct route optimization surveys to reduce transit time of the fleet to achieve cost efficiency on fuel consumption.

c) Provide a monthly deployment plan of assets to achieve a high return of investment of each asset.

d) Prepare monthly report on operation efficiency of both in-house and outsource vehicles to ensure maximum loads.

e) Monitor the availability of manpower to optimise the daily operations with a balance of in-house and outsource vehicles.

f) Work together with the Transport Executive (Operations) to ensure 100% operation efficiency of transport support to all centres.

g) Assist Transport Manager to plan all maintenance activities for the fleet to achieve zero downtime of vehicles during operational hours.

h) Prepare monthly fleet maintenance reports to highlight abnormally high expenses assets to the Transport Manager for corrective actions.

i) Work with Transport Executive (Operations) to analyse quarterly vehicle defects reports to the Transport Manager for corrective actions.

j) Operate the potential computer asset management system that will automate the workflows and processes related with fleet maintenance.

k) Assist Transport Manager on improvement projects write-ups to secure approval and fundings for these projects.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in operations handling such as mobility sectors, will be advantage
- Good interpersonal and networking skill
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office to prepare reports
- Able to multi-task
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Identify risk factors that impact efficiency and safety of transport execution
- Optimize use of allocated resources within business activities
- To review daily transport operational activities and ensure all delivery activities are carried out within schedule in a very efficient and cost-effective manner
- Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated
