**The team you’ll part of**
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
As a Network Automation Architect, you will:
- Provide customer services to Nokia’s customer base
- Provide Network Automation Solution Architecture leadership for NI led projects
- Provide Network Automation consultation workshops to Customers to enhance their experience of the product by leveraging the powerful features of Nokia’s leading-edge Carrier SDN platforms
- Provide guidance on Network Automation configuration and utilization based on project requirements and best practices
- Author HLD/LLD design, configuration, operational or test documentation as required for the project
- Provide guidance on Network Automation Integration with third party OSS and other Nokia Network Management Systems Provide northbound API expertise and consultation
- Develop and keep up to date consultation workshop material and design document templates
- Work in a consultative manner directly with Customers, Project Managers, Sales Engineers to deliver projects
- Work closely with the global team and with Product Line Management to enhance professional services delivery, best practices and the overall customer experience
- The work can frequently be at customer premises for short durations of time (1 week typical), travel is a requirement for this position
**Your skills and experience**
You have:
- At least 3 years of experience in Carrier SDN
- At least 3 years of experience in networking
- At least 4 years of experience in programming, scripting or modeling
- Experience in databases and data modeling such as XML and JSON, RESTful API
- Familiar with Carrier SDN concepts
- Experience in handling EMS/NSM systems in large service providers would be an advantage
- Knowledge of SNMP protocols and in general southbound EMS to NE communication protocols
- Good to have a conceptual understanding of L3 and L2 MPLS services
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communicator and able to deliver complex concepts in simple manner
- Ability to talk to different type of audience (technical and non-technical)
- Singaporeans, Singapore PRs are encouraged to apply
It will be good if you also had:
- Strong technical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as being energetic, results oriented
- Preferably knowledge of the latest technologies such as Segment Routing, BGP-LS and PCEP protocols
