**Responsibilities**:
**Job purpose**

In this role, the applicant will work as part of a regional team. He/she will be responsible for scheduling physical commodity movements of precious metals across a global network. The role requires coordination with trading and sales teams as well as other support functions to ensure efficient transfer of precious metals to our clients. This role will ensure that all daily processes are fully completed and signed off and will also involve daily processing of metal releases and trade checking.

**General Duties**
- Liaising with warehouses and freight forwarders to arrange deliveries to client and receipt from supplier.
- Arranging and preparing payment of invoices.
- Maintain a record of bar list in each region so as to provide correct bar list to freight forwarder for release to client
- To prepare document and arrange stock release into warehouses and other storage facilities.
- To arrange shipment with warehouses for stock to be shipped from one location to another.
- Maintain effective business relationships with Sales, Logistics, Banks and colleagues
- Laise with banks on funds movement - receipts and payments
- File Management - Maintain accurate files in soft copy for auditing purposes
- Gather documents for Internal and External Auditor
- Check all previous day night trades at beginning of next day
- Check all same day trades at the mid of the day
- Generate Trade Recap, Margin Control Report and Statement of Account and send the reports to clients
- Generate daily Customer Margin Reports and send to Management
- Generate daily Customer balance Reports and send to Management
- Perform daily reconciliation for previous day trades, all physical movement and balance report using Duco
- To recognize and rectify any Duco reconciliation differences
- Check entries booked by colleagues (4 eye checked)
- Check intercompany loan figure / interest
- Perform daily bank reconciliation before the start of the day / Send to mangement
- Generate daily report for discount and premiums
- Generate daily Trading PNL / Submit to management
- Generate report for client monthly trading volume / Submit to management
- Ensure new client document are provided to operations with all necessary details
- Ensure new client are set up both in the bank system and our booking system
- Adhoc duties as required

Qualifications:
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Diploma or degree holder
- Minimum 1 year of commodities related experience (ideally Precious Metals)
- Exposure to and solid understanding of the trading of metal products.
- Exposure to and solid understanding of finance/repurchase transactions
- Exposure to freight forwarding and chartering logistics.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and delegate.
