Summary

As part of the IT team in Singapore, you will be responsible for configuration, maintenance and operation of Singapore Office server, network, storage infrastructure and desktop. You play a critical role in ensuring the Singapore Office network and all related equipment are functional to accommodate system users.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Server Management (60%)

Installs, configures, tests, and maintains servers, backup device and related networking equipment.

Overall, in charge of Server Room environment (UPS, temperature, FM200, smoke and water detection)

Basic Linux knowledge is a plus point.

LAN Administration (40%)

Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems is an advantage.

An advanced proficiency in the operation of local and wide-area networks and components.

To ensure Server and LAN are effective managed, your day to day will involve the following:
Routine Tasks

Manage and troubleshoot day-to-day Server services and Network infrastructure of Singapore Office.

Ensure all Server and Network Infra design, installation and configuration are compliant with group security policies and standards.

Performs all critical data backups and secures data according to established procedures.

Installs firmware and security updates on servers, printers, and related networking equipment.

Logs all hardware and software problems and change request (upgrades and maintenance) on End User Portal ticketing system including the scheduling, updating and notify the manager.

Liaise with appropriate maintenance vendors to arrange for repair/replacement of hardware and software upgrade.

Review proposed recommendations for implementation of new service or improvement in response to business requirements.

Provide weekly reporting on the status of Server and Network for stability and utilisation.

Update Server and Network Infrastructure documentation on quarterly basis.

Participate in the weekly and monthly operational review meetings.

To perform well in this role, you must possess good problem-solving skills and organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

**Minimum Requirements**:
At least 3 years of experience in managing server and LAN network

(SERVER)

Solid understanding of Windows Servers and Client operating systems and domain technologies and enterprise backup systems.

Knowledge and experience supporting VMWare Enterprise technologies and deployments (Rackmount and Dell VX Rail).

(LAN)

Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure; capable to implement, administer, troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.

Experience with Cisco network devices such as switches, router and Meraki access points.
