Digital Director

As a **Digital Director **for this high-profile, global client so you will lead a team of digital specialists and deliver digital strategy, planning and execution as well as driving forward digital best practice and innovation.

In this role, you will demonstrate expert digital skills, the ability to run a thriving team as well as strong leadership capabilities within the agency.

As a Digital Director, you operate at the very heart of the business and are critical to its market perception across the digital landscape. The digital community is therefore tasked with creating a recognized market-leading position in digital implementation / executional management and client servicing.

**Reporting Structure**:

- You report directly to the Business Director
- You are expected to manage your own workload as well as any specialist delivery services that are being deployed in your business

**The role encompasses**:

- Quality control of the output of digital activity and ensure all digital media goals and strategies are delivered and executed within budgets.
- Building strong relationships with media vendors and co-create custom, client centric digital solutions.
- Identification and management of innovative digital media initiatives.
- Be a leader of the PHD digital community.
- Consult on digital best practises across the account.
- Management and development of key senior relationships with your clients.
- Networking within the digital media community in a manner than drives and distinguishes our position.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**1. Client relationship management**
- Serve as thought leader in aligning digital marketing strategy with client’s business goals and objectives.
- Ensure quality of digital media utilising your digital expertise.
- Principal client contact for digital strategy for our clients.

**2. Digital Strategy & Planning**
- In-depth assessment of digital media options and provide detailed recommendations of proposed communication solutions.
- Assess, identify and recommend innovative digital media initiatives that deliver greater strategy depth and impact to the digital media plan.
- Help to define digital roadmap for the brands.
- Develop and share frameworks and methodologies for accelerating digital transformation.

**3. Performance/Digital Marketing Execution**
- Showcase an expertise in SEM, Social Media Advertising, and Programmatic Advertising.
- Oversee the execution of the campaigns.
- Lead transformational campaign optimization.

**4. Training**
- Lead digital "evangelization" initiatives with the clients and internal teams.
- Identify the digital knowledge gap within team and clients, design training plans & modules.
- Facilitate and conduct digital strategy and platform trainings for clients in collaboration with partners, internal experts and market digital leads.

**5. Integration**

**Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications**:

- 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing or strategic marketing consulting.
- Strong passion for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing.
- Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.
- Ability to thrive in a fluid and multicultural environment.
- Strong familiarity with digital metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience targeting, programmatic, mobile, social and online analytics.)
