**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Sustainability Analyst role sits within the Sustainability team. The Sustainability team is accountable for all of Unravel Carbon’s client engagements, from creating GHG-protocol aligned emissions inventories to identifying impactful decarbonisation opportunities. You will support our Sustainability Consultants with the following:

- Onboarding customers to Unravel Carbon, including providing guidance on data collection and preparation for emissions measurement
- Reviewing customer emissions data inputs and outputs to provide quality assurance
- Researching emissions factors and credible emissions measurement methodologies that are required by customers
- Analysing customer emissions data to identify hotspots, trends and impactful areas for decarbonization efforts
- Preparing materials for customer engagements, such as data models, reports and slide decks
- Supporting other advisory work as required, such as benchmarking emissions performance against industry peers, researching decarbonisation solutions, and developing decarbonisation strategies
- Managing internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and superior customer satisfaction

**ABOUT YOU**
- **Nice to have**:You have working knowledge of the GHG Protocol plus at least one of the following topics:

- Corporate climate disclosure and reporting (ESG, TCFD, CDP etc.)
- Negative emission / carbon removal technologies
- Carbon offsetting markets
- You have excellent numerical skills and strong proficiency with Excel/spreadsheets, a methodical approach and can work independently
- You care about data integrity and quality
- You have a lot of curiosity, common sense and a broad understanding of carbon, climate and sustainability issues
- Advantageous to have customer-facing experience working in a consulting environment
- You're excited by the opportunity of an early-stage startup and faster development than a typical sustainability consultancy would provide
- You can engage people from different background and with different agendas
- Your take the initiative and see problems as challenges, not barriers
- You have high integrity, care about real climate impact, and can guide customers on this journey

**YOUR WORK STYLE**
- Analytical and detail-oriented, and fully capable of navigating, critically assessing and combining various datasets to pull out key insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while being flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
- Self-starter (proactive and independent) with an ability to prioritize different assignments and tasks to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Eager to think outside of the box and creatively problem-solve
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills to translate the data into understandable (visual) insights

**YOUR PREFERRED BACKGROUND**
- You are working towards a bachelor’s degree in a sustainability
- or data-related field, or equivalent experience
- You have 0-2 years of work experience, ideally in Sustainability Consulting focusing on corporate carbon accounting
- Based in Singapore with the necessary rights to work
