**Role of Junior Baker**:

- Maintain high standards of hygiene
- Prepare a wide variety of artisan bakery products, such as sourdough, croissant, French baguette, focaccia, ciabatta, etc.
- Create new and exciting range of bakery items to refresh our menu selection/ according to festive periods and occasions
- Maintain proper ordering of ingredients such as flour, sugar, improver etc. and ensure first-in-first out (FIFO) method is utilized
- Ensure all baking equipment are clean and kept properly

**Experience & Skills**:

- Proven skills in artisanal bakery products will be advantageous
- Possess knowledge of sanitation principles, nutrition, food preparation and baking techniques
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day roster)
