Learning Development Associate

Create Lab inspires children to create with technology and prepare them to thrive in the 21st Century. We are Singapore’s leading coding, robotics, and design enrichment provider for primary schoolers. Our award-winning programs are developed in collaboration with Google, SoftBank as well as academics from Oxford, MIT & Singapore’s leading universities. Since 2015, we have impacted over 2000 students in Singapore, Sri Lanka, India and Australia. Create Lab has been recognized as Singapore’s Best Coding School by Parents World and a Top-10 start-up by CLSA

**Responsibilities**:
Work with Create Lab’s Academic Advisory Board to design & deliver creative technology curriculums that inspire students to create with technology
Design and build learning tools (hardware and/or software) that help students learn programming, robotics and design thinking
Improve design and delivery of course content based on classroom observations and feedback from stakeholders
Take part in training of Create Lab instructors

**Requirements**:
A Beginner’s Mindset: You should live and breathe the spirit of learning and self-improvement. You like to experiment, try new things and push yourself to run that extra mile
A Passion for Technology: Some technical experience in Scratch, App Inventor, Python, Java, Web Development, MicroBit, Arduino, Raspberry Pi etc. (it’s not necessary to have experience in ALL of these. Just some)
A Passion to Teach: Experience in, or an interest in teaching children. You like spending time with children and are patient to get through your ideas to them
Communications Skills: You are fluent in English and are good at communicating your ideas
