**Job Summary**:
The Early Intervention Teacher plays a crucial role in providing specialized education and support to students with diverse learning needs. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill this role — one who can create inclusive learning environments, adapt teaching methods, guide the children with passion and genuinity, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure that students with disabilities receive a high-quality education tailored to their unique requirements. The class ratio is 1:3 with a maximum capacity of 6 children per class.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Individualized Education Plans (IEP)**:
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, guardians, and other educational professionals.
- Ensure that IEP goals and objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).
**2. Instruction and Differentiation**:
- Adapt instructional materials, teaching techniques, and classroom strategies to accommodate the diverse learning styles and abilities of students with disabilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
**3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:
- Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly using appropriate tools and methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular updates to parents.
**4.** **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, therapists, and specialists to provide a holistic approach to student development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to involve them in the educational process, address concerns, and celebrate achievements.
**5. Behavior Management and Support**:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as needed to address challenging behaviors and promote positive social interactions.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- Knowledge of various disabilities and their impact on learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of students with special needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Experience in special education is preferred.
Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
