**[What the role is]**
To develop and scale-up programmes which are sustainable and effective, to enhance impact and benefits to residents and CDC’s other stakeholders
To connect corporate and community partners and volunteers, to serve and meet the varied needs of residents and beneficiaries, creating a multiplier effect and a culture of giving back
**[What you will be working on]**
Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).
- Assists Senior Manager in formulating, implementing and reviewing plans for the development of partnership and outreach programmes to achieve community goals.
- Provides administrative/logístical support and guidance to the Council and project joint partners to facilitate effective implementation of their activities.
- To develop and execute district level CDC projects and cross-segment programmes among CDC’s community partners such as Grassroots Organisations, Social Service Agencies (SSAs), schools, government bodies and non-government organisations.
- Works closely with the Grassroots Leaders, Corporate and Community Partners, and Council Members as an account manager to the constituencies to foster collaborations, monitor and coordinate CDC initiated and CDC-funded programmes/projects.
- To facilitate and enhance ground-up projects which are supported by the CDC, by working closely with community volunteers and organisations to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of their initiatives.
- To manage and maintain relationships with CDC’s key stakeholders, including corporates, schools and volunteer groups (e.g. youths).
- To engage in research, needs assessments and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of our community projects.
- To coordinate and submit progress reports on the Council Committees, provide feedback, recommend changes and improvements to Council, sharing of results and notes of discussion with Committee, and thereby facilitating communication and coordination between the Committee and the Council.
- Submits progress reports on the Council to PA Headquarters, thereby facilitating communication and coordination between the Council and PA.
- Provides administrative and logístical support to projects organised by PA Headquarters.
- Attends CDC, CCC and social services-related meetings/events to provide prompt and direct service to stakeholders
- Provide accurate record of key meetings, such as Council meetings, Standing Committee meetings and other Organising Committee meetings.
