**What the role is**
- To assist in the formation, development and administration of programmes by the Community Development Council in the CDC's district, thereby promoting social cohesion, community bonding and racial harmony. The job will include networking with various partners for collaboration purposes.

**MANAGER (PROJECTS)**

**Responsibilities**:
As Manager (Projects), your key duties and responsibilities includes:

- Assist Senior Manager and Team Leader in formulating, implementing and reviewing the concept, strategies and management of assistance-related projects to outreach to the schools and community;
- Provide administrative / logístical support and guidance to the Council and project joint partners to facilitate effective implementation of their activities;
- Work closely with Grassroots Leaders, Community Partners and District Councillors to foster collaborations, monitor and coordinate CDC initiated and CDC-funded programmes/ projects. Lead community engagement programmes and build strategic and meaningful partnership with stakeholders;
- Engage in needs assessments and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of our community projects;
- Coordinate and submit reports, provide feedback, recommend changes and improvements to Council;
- Attends CDC, CCC and other related meetings/ events to provide prompt and direct service to stakeholders;
- Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Officers

**Requirements**:

- Relevant knowledge or experience from work in previous voluntary/community activities/environment-related sector would be preferred.
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement or community outreach would be added advantage
- Knowledge of 2nd language is useful (e.g. Mandarin, Malay or Tamil).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate network and relationships with stakeholders
- Able to attend night meetings and events on weekends if required.
