**Company background**
Alchemy Pay is a payment gateway provider that connects cryptocurrency and traditional fiat currency for consumers, businesses, and developers. It makes crypto exchanges and Web3 services highly accessible for users with fiat funds. Alchemy Pay’s ramp solution is integrated with crypto platforms and dApps via a widget or API. Alchemy Pay’s network includes 300+ fiat payment channels, including many popular e-wallets in emerging markets. ACH is the network’s utility token, available as an ERC20 or BEP20. Alchemy Pay is listed on Coinbase and Binance and has a US $300M market cap.

Working with the CMO, the company is looking for a Brand Manager to join their fast-growing marketing team. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of our global brand and communication strategies by interpreting brand, competitive and consumer insights. This will require collaboration with business partners and cross-functional teams in the global network.

The workload is self-initiated and led with consultation and input from the leadership team where necessary and desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive global PR activities including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements, award nomination and securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for key spokespeople
- Working closely with Alchemy Pay teams to support announcements and liaising with external teams for PR campaigns and announcements
- Generate high-impact thought leadership opportunities
- Create new PR campaigns and amplify existing campaigns
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant global media outlets and journalists
- Proactive pitching, reactive handling and active media monitoring
- Analysing and reporting PR coverage and outcomes
- Manage and build a media database of crypto/blockchain and mainstream media publications, divided by geography and verticals (e.g. payments, trading, technology, innovation etc)
- Research blockchain and crypto conferences, and events (offline and online) and pitch for team members to speak and/or attend
- Conceptualise, manage, and organise side events during conferences and at the conferences itself
- Liaise with Marketing teams for relevant conferences to provide Alchemy Pay-sponsored materials

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Public Relations experience, preferably in the crypto/payments/tech industries, either in-house or agency
- Expert knowledge of the financial/crypto media landscape
- Proven media relations skills, solid copy-writing and editing skills
- A strategic thinker with the motivation and drive to own and execute initiatives
- Must be able to both work independently and collaborate with remote global marketing team members
- High levels of professionalism and emotional intelligence
- A strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain-related terminologies and trends, and a strong interest in crypto culture are a plus
- Excellent project and time management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with PR and media tracking and reporting tools such as Telum and Google Alerts
- Native or expert English speaker and writer
- Out-going personality and natural flair in relationship building

**Good to Have**
- Experience buying/trading bitcoin/crypto or understanding of Alchemy Pay’s products and ecosystem
- Experience in journalism and media (writing articles, blogs, copywriting, social media/marketing)
