**Job Summary**

Conceiving and writing fresh brand content and copy that connects with desired audiences and reflects the brand’s communications style and luxury positioning, expresses the desired message according to the target market and various advertising and/or content objectives. Proofreading to ensure copy is written in perfect British English, is on brand and appropriate to brand voice for consistent messaging. Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and short turnaround times.

**Primary Relationships**

The position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Communications.

Within the organization, this position has primary working relationships with the Marketing, PR, Digital and Design teams, and indirectly with the Corporate Sales and Training teams within the company.

Outside the organization, the position may coordinate with other language service providers (translation agencies, performance marketing agencies, etc).

**Responsibilities**:

- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
- Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action across different communication channels
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, company, or target audience
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications-and client-related industry trends
- Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
- Proofread copy across varied channels as needed to ensure language is on brand
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
- Creation and maintenance of standard content style guide

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
- Exceptional writing and research skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Preferred skills and qualifications
- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
- Understanding of SEO, keyword research

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Comparative Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in copywriting,
- Experience with or a passion to work in the luxury industry.
- Presentation skills and previous experience in the luxury industry would be a plus.
