**Full-Time Chinese Ministry Pastoral Staff**

Aldersgate Methodist Church is looking for a pastoral staff member to lead and shepherd our Chinese Ministry. This person reports to the pastor overseeing the Chinese Ministry and works closely with the other pastors, pastoral staff members and lay Chinese Ministry committee members.

**Responsibilities**

1. Provides leadership to the Chinese Ministry and congregation

2. Preaches often and regularly at the Mandarin service

3. Oversees the pulpit and worship ministry of the Mandarin worship service

4. Conducts a monthly prayer meeting in Mandarin

5. Teaches Chinese Ministry classes and programs

6. Provides pastoral care for the Chinese Ministry congregation, including visitation and counselling of members

7. Administers and plans Chinese Ministry events, including outreach and evangelism events

8. Leading of wakes & funeral services

9. Any other tasks that the Pastor-in-Charge assigns

**Qualifications**

1. Theological training and a minimum of 3 years of pastoral ministry experience.

2. A committed and growing servant of God.

3. A strong team player with leadership and organisational abilities.

4. Competent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

5. Competent in administration and proficient in office management software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
