**Responsibilities**
- The Regional Cloud Governance Manager, Asia & Oceania is responsible for the cloud governance in the region including establishing cloud policies and standards, implementing controls and tools, providing trainings, and reviewing projects and services. Reporting to the Regional Head, Governance & Controls, Asia & Oceania, this is a key role to manage cloud initiatives.
- Assist the Regional Head, Governance & Controls, Asia & Oceania to govern cloud transformation initiatives for the region.
- Establish and implement a cloud governance framework in the region including cloud policies and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure that the policies and standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., HKMA SPMs and MAS TRMG), and any other obligations are adhered to all cloud initiatives.
- Implement a consistent cloud operating model in the region including overseeing risks associated with the cloud initiatives, reviewing cloud usage (e.g., certificate and recertificate), and reporting all material risks to the relevant risk committees and forums.
- Act as the single point of contact to provide responses to internal and external cloud enquiries including regulatory and audit exams.
- Lead cloud risk, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance audit engagements in partnership with the Technology Risk & Controls and Information Security functions.
- Responsible for evaluating and reporting of regular cloud assessment activities covering risk assessments, compliance status, and incident metrics.
- Build long-term, value-added relationships with key stakeholders across all 3 LoD to retain and enhance continuous trust in cloud services.
**Requirement**
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in cloud environment with proven record of governing cloud transformation. Experience and knowledge about leading public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Professional cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- In-depth understanding of cloud controls, technologies, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., HKMA SPMs and MAS TRMG).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentations and writing risk papers, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast moving high pressure environment and balancing multiple work streams. Experience in financial services or regulated environments is preferred
