**The Role**

We are looking for team members who are keen to build products with purpose Everyone knows technologists are in high demand, but very few companies are building platforms at the crossroads between sustainability and finance. You will be joining a passionate team striving to make a difference in a pragmatic way, using technology.

Business Analyst, within the Product Team, will work together with customers to ensure that our software platform fully addresses customers’ business requirements.

The Business Analyst will also collaborate with our sales and marketing team to propose solutions, estimate effort, and assist with demos to potential customers.

ESGTech’s technology stack is web fronted for our customers to use, linked to a backend of ESG data, disclosure models and plug-ins to approved partners systems. ESGTech is cloud native and 3rd generation AWS, with various usage of other market leading technology services.

**We’re looking for people with the following attributes**:

- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, fresh graduates are welcomed
- Understanding of and experience in regulatory or financial reporting is desirable
- Strong problem solving, analytical and process design skills
- Interest in working at an early-stage startup
- Flexible, dynamic and open approach to problem solving
- Can-do attitude
- Proactive and highly motivated individual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure

**You might be best suited if you can create or execute**:

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Translate business requirements from functional specifications to technical stories
- Work with the development teams to design and develop solutions to meet business requirements
- Draft acceptance criteria and perform user testing
- Perform analysis to identify data and platform gaps
- Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction
