**Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and managing the shipment of goods to and from various locations
- Ensuring that all shipping operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Negotiating contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and other shipping service providers
- Must be a highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and develop relationships with shipping lines
- Tracking shipments and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicating with customers and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or issues that arise
- Managing and resolving any shipping-related issues or concerns that arise
- Strong working knowledge of cross-border logistics including import/export and customs clearance
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that shipping services meet the needs of the business and its customers
- Managing shipping budgets and ensuring that shipping costs are kept within budgetary constraints
- Able to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Identifying opportunities to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs

**Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in sea freight / logistic department/freight forwarding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with carriers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with shipping management software and other relevant technology
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping, such as those related to safety, security, and hazardous materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Perform other duties in supply chain as and when may assigned by the management team
