**About the job**
The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Social Media Lead for Asia Pacific (APAC) to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing audience awareness, creating outreach initiatives to engage with key communities, and supporting executive social media. You’ll also help energize advocacy programs for associates and partners and lead the strategy and planning for amplifying key Red Hat events. You will also manage agencies set up across the region to support our social media programs, triangulating desired results with country marketing teams to ensure we account for the dynamism of APAC while remaining on-brand. As an APAC Social Media Lead, you’ll work with a broad range of stakeholders across teams in APAC, along with corporate teams based in the U.S. Your ability to build relationships, articulate purpose, and be a trusted advisor to teams who look to you for guidance on social media are critical to your success. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be familiar with B2B marketing, have a keen understanding of the social media landscape across APAC, and demonstrate success in stakeholder management.
**What you will do**
- Increase awareness for Red Hat’s positioning, using customer references in particular
- Create initiatives to engage with communities consisting of our key audiences on social media platforms across the region
- Provide leadership to stand up a framework for amplifying the social media influence of Red Hat APAC’s senior executives
- Energize and elevate programs for associate advocacy participation, as well as for Red Hat’s partner ecosystem
- Be the campaign lead for social media amplification of key Red Hat events in APAC
- Prepare regular reports to provide visibility for social media performance, and deliver timely insights and learnings to stakeholders to improve literacy of social media
- Be the trusted advisor for internal teams and roles seeking guidance on social media, and champion best-in-class social marketing practices
- Deliver insights on audiences across APAC by using social listening tools and corporate relationships with social media platforms
- Contribute to the integration of social with other digital channels, and ensure we increase synergy between paid and organic activities
- Manage and coordinate agency partners across the region to deliver high quality results
**What you will bring**
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Familiar with Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Business, Adobe Analytics, and publishing tools like Sprout Social
- Good understanding of social media channels, e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
- Knowledge of creative, editorial planning, and content development cycles
- Experience with planning and delivering paid social advertising
- Demonstrated success with employee advocacy programs
- Excellent campaign management skills, including ability to handle budgets and concurrent project timelines
- Great understanding of social media analytics, social listening, and campaign metrics for reporting
- Experience working across multiple markets and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience managing agencies across the region
- Familiarity with B2B marketing is a plus
