Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a **Business Planning & Strategy Manager (12 Month Contract)** to join the APAC Business Strategy team based in Singapore. This role reports into the Director for Business Strategy (DBS) for APAC in Singapore and will support the Head of Business Planning & Strategy for APAC.
- Subject to performance and business requirement, this contract may be extendable or renewable._

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?_**
- Support the DBS to develop, project manage and execute on strategic initiatives across the region, engaging and partnering with the Business Planning & Strategy Group, functional leaders and other key stakeholders in the management and coordination of live and upcoming projects
- Support the DBS and wider APAC Business & Strategy Group on day-to-day tasks and wider initiatives that support and drive the strategic direction of the APAC business
- Act as a focal point for the support and maintenance of critical projects for APAC, including, but not limited to, strategic initiatives, business development plans, employee engagement and other projects deemed necessary by the DBS
- Create and develop roadmaps and trackers for all projects, identifying key deliverables, timelines and coordinating various groups (internal and external) to deliver on objectives.
- Partner and manage the escalation when projects are required to be amended or changed considering changing market or business circumstances
- Develop working relationship across Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Change Management, Business Excellence, and other internal functions, in addition to working with external parties where necessary
- Support the DBS for turning ideas into actionable projects and value-added solutions
- Manage, support, and cultivate junior analysts while demonstrating the values and culture of the APAC Business Strategy & Planning Group and the wider organization

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?_**
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing projects, preferably in the asset management /financial services industry
Experience and comfortable to lead complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders across international and local markets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and develop initiatives/plans from high-level objectives
- Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset with strong organizational skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Manage team members, identify skills, and train team members while fostering a culture of collaboration
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and think out-of-the-box
- Strong communication and EQ skills
- Ability to adopt a “think global, act local” approach
- Ability to represent the department and organizational strategy within region
- Financial designations are advantageous (CFA, Degree, Masters or professional financial certifications)
