Key Responsibilities

**Chess Enrichment Lessons**
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate chess lessons for primary school students.
- Introduce foundational concepts such as piece movement, check/checkmate, basic strategies, and opening principles.
- Use puzzles, games, and mini-tournaments to encourage interactive and experiential learning.
- Foster an environment that builds confidence, patience, and critical thinking through play-based learning.

**Student Care & Engagement**
- Supervise and engage students during class time, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to varying levels of chess experience and learning styles.
- Encourage sportsmanship, focus, and perseverance in all student interactions.

**Parental Communication & Program Support**
- Provide brief progress updates to parents when needed.
- Work with the academy team to enhance the chess curriculum and assist in enrichment event planning.
- Take attendance and help maintain student performance records.
