Field Applications Specialist

Singapore Agilent Technologies, Inc. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports the Pathology sales force to reach their quota for assigned territories.
- Executes the FAS related initiatives of the Pathology business plan.
- Delivers technical expertise for solution implementation to customer based on Agilent products and services.
- Encourage co-visits strategies with the Agilent sales specialists.
- Acts as a scientific consultant for the Pathology customers.
- Focuses on pre-sales activities with revenue generating potential.
- Keeps scientific knowledge on existing and new Pathology products in state of the art.
- Actively shares scientific relevant information with FAS colleagues within and outside region.
- Represents Agilent scientifically on relevant congresses and seminars.
- Provides scientific trainings on Agilent's Pathology solutions.
- Facilitates solutions for Agilent's Pathology customers.
- Minimum Diploma in Medical Science (immunology-based degree) with up to 5 years laboratory experience. Preferably with some commercial experience.
- Extensive practical knowledge of tissue pathology techniques.
- Practical experience working in a clinical environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a very good knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques.
- A passion for sharing his/her scientific knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- A fluency in English (other languages are a plus) and excellent communication/presentation skills.
- The flexibility to travel 75% of the time and may require occasional travel to other countries.
- An appreciation for working in an international environment.
