Siemens PLC Engineer

Responsible for the design, development and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals PLC systems on site. Key technology will be Siemens (Simatic IT or PCS7).
Will participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
Work with automation team to design system hardware, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.
Supporting manufacturing operations for day today support for Automation systems.
Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations.
Field commissioning of automation equipment’s.
System administration and maintenance support.
Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.
Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.
**Requirements**:
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry, with projects or operations.
Experience in the Designing and commissioning or support of Siemens system project for GMP manufacturing site.
Understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process
Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies
Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma
