Marketing Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic all-round marketing manager, with experience in a busy working environment, to join our growing Asian team. Seize the opportunity to join a growing and active international marketing team and to providemarketing support in a wide area of mediums for a diverse and fascinating business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**Tradeshow and Customer Events**

▪ Supervise logistics of Asian trade shows and related sales meetings (when required), and in-house and off-site customer events, in liaison with the Senior Director of Creative and Customer Experience and tradeshow designers and outside tradeshow consultants.

▪ Oversee Production and delivery of event-specific projects and collateral from proposal right up to delivery.

▪ Source suppliers for all tradeshow and event materials and marketing requirements in timely and cost-effective manner.

▪ Order new products (when needed) and maintain inventory of KVH products used at tradeshows, coordinate shipment of such products to and from tradeshows in a timely and cost-effective manner.

▪ Assist with on-site build up and break down for customer events and smaller tradeshows and oversee on-site build-up for larger tradeshows.

▪ Maintain appointments and client management, distributetradeshow protocols and schedules to sales team, and overseelead capture requirements at tradeshows and events.

▪ Manage and fulfil the distribution channel’s collateral, show support needs, and regional ad requests.

▪ Act as point person for literature and support material needs for APAC Sales Team and distribution channel.

▪ Manage and maintain inventory of collateral for use by sales teams throughout Asia as requested and needed.

**Competitive Market Tracking**

▪ Follow trade media about the leisure and commercial maritime markets and competitive activities, pulling out key graphs, headlines, and ads into a regular overview.

**Translations**

▪ Manage translations for all APAC marketing needs, including web, digital, and print collateral. Includes direct translations (where ability exists) and managing internal and external resources for timely translation. Includes proofing and basic formatting.

**Miscellaneous Marketing and Sales Material Support**

▪ Proofing, printing, basic formatting, sales presentation preparation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

▪ Marketing-related degree or equivalent - required.

▪ An experienced marketer with 3+ years’ experience.

▪ Maritime industry marketing experience - a plus.

▪ Must thrive under pressure and relish the challenge of achieving new goals.

▪ Strong organizational abilities, accuracy, attention to detail and highly methodical

▪ Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.

▪ Ability to travel internationally throughout Asia.

▪ Team player with strong interpersonal skills

▪ 'Can-do' attitude.

▪ Other spoken regional languages (a plus)

Software knowledge:
▪ Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - required.

▪ Adobe Creative Suite - a plus

▪ Workfront project management or similar - desirable

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
