[What the role is]

Working within the One Mosque Sector, the focus is on social innovation in the planning and design of programmes that create a positive social impact through zakat assistance. Some of these include schemes such as the monthly financial assistance and programmes such as Islamic learning, general life-skills and other initiatives that are aligned to our social and community development goals.

In overseeing these schemes and functions, you would be working closely with the mosque districts and the social development (SD) mosques that manages the frontline and operations of zakat disbursement.

[What will you be working on]

**Areas of responsibility include**:
Social Innovation Policy Development
- Develop social innovation initiatives that are aligned to Muis’ strategic objectives for zakat assistance within the community and socio-religious context
- Harness the innovation potential of social development work in the One Mosque Sector to provide holistic solutions to our beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders

Strategic Collaboration and Coordination
- Identify and bring together partners and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to leverage on each other’s strengths in developing and co-creating solutions and interventions that create a positive social impact in the community

Research and Knowledge Management
- Conduct research and analysis on zakat assistance administration data for internal policy reviews and planning
- Enhance internal knowledge management processes and systems as part of the unit’s and organisation’s strategic assets

[What we are looking for]

**Requirement**:

- Tertiary qualification in any relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good analytical skills, familiarity with data analytical tools for research, and an understanding of e-platforms to manage the digitisation of processes
- Able to keep abreast of the developments in social innovation, policy development, standards and best practices and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills (negotiation, influence, and engage stakeholders).
