**About the role**

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Innovation department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of operation and business objectives.

**What you will be doing**
- Lead Innovation Project, from scoping to pilot phase, on related innovation fields (Digital, Automation, Sustainability) with a focus on Robotics & Automation.
- Perform technologies watch and scout technologies that have high potential to solve operation problem statements that are not readily off-the-shelves solutions by our Solution / OPEX teams
- Support the business in scaling-up successful pilots, leading the project when relevant (e.g. when pooling expert resources in the Innovation team is required to maintain solutions)
- Set up and support Project Management good practices and methodologies across the department
- Proactively support the team members in their day-to-day work by providing expertise and insight.
- Liaise with the operation department to understand their problem statements and workflow processes in the warehouse.
- Liaise with the marketing department to create internal and external communication content on Innovation
- Liaise with the sales department to present Innovation to prospects and customers
- Liaise with the other Innovation department teams to support them on the definition and execution of their innovation roadmaps
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Supply Chain or related field is mandatory. Masters is desired. Equivalent combination of experience,education and training will be considered
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments
- Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- Passion for technology / tech - savvy
- Experience / knowledge of supply chain, transportation or logistics domains is highly desirable
- Experience / knowledge of Robotics and Automation solutions is desirable
- Proficiency in Problem Solving and Process re-engineering methods is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Computer programming languages, BI tool, Tableau
