JR49891 TECHNOLOGIST - PROBE MFG

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Probe Equipment Technologist** to join our team. As a Probe Equipment Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing semiconductor probe equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on probe stations and associated equipment.
- ** Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- ** Process Optimization**: Collaborate with engineers to optimize probe processes for yield improvement.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance.
- ** Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with high-tech equipment.
- ** Training**: Train new technicians and operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in probe station setup, alignment, and calibration.
- Familiarity with probe cards, needles, and wafer handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity and basic electronic components and circuits.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and fix mechanical systems.
- Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to component level.
- Intermediate PC skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of the process flow related to area equipment.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility with job responsibilities and shift assignments (able to perform 12-hour work shifts).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
