**Job Description
**Website Conversion**
1) Strategic product placement of “hot” items or items with high quantity
- Utilize Shopify Admin to highlight key items
- Partner with Marketing to promote if necessary
2) Creation of “stories” supporting branded products selected as traffic drivers to the site
- Partner with Marketing to callout stories and harness Social Media
3) Creation of custom collection pages based on buy stories
- Creating collections that will cohesively live together online should be a part of new product additions
- Use Shopify Admin to create custom landing pages
- Ensure Navigation has been adjusted to drive customers to custom pages
- Partner with Marketing to assist in directing customers to landing pages. In many cases it will be the Marketing Team that request for “collections” to be created for particular promotional or holiday activity
4) Partnering with Marketing Team to drive Digital strategies that speak to products and collections which can be projected to drive conversion
5) Routinely partner with Marketing to decide on Home Page features
6) Weekly select “New Arrivals” and “Best Sellers” for Home Page and Collection Pages
7) Manage “Complete the Look” - based on tags
**Website Traffic**
1) Strategic selection of branded items with “hot’ keywords or that are trending to drive search traffic to the site
- Partner with Marketing Team & Overdose Team on strategic SEO particularly for new or hot items. Additionally if a big buy investment has been made in a particular category
2) Partnering with Marketing to callout branded product selected as traffic drivers
**Website Seasonal Buy**
1) Partner with Brand Buyer in placing seasonal buy. Specific order qtys for web must be decided and ensured in buy
2) Strategically decide on “Online” only selections and have action plan on driving sales for those skus
3) Create navigation and collection tags for all new items

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, website management, or a similar position.
- Strong understanding of online consumer behaviour, website analytics, and conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, etc.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to optimize product descriptions and website content.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Marketing & E-commerce, to align on merchandising strategies.
- Ability to create engaging and persuasive content for product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional campaigns.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage product assortments, tags, and collections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Experience in managing seasonal product assortments and driving online sales for specific SKUs.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Working experience in managing website developer is a plus, example: Overdose
- Up-to-date with the latest ecommerce and digital marketing trends.
- Hands on experience of an e-commerce platform such as Shopify Plus
