**The role**

This is an exciting time to join one of the top media agency, as the Data & Technology Director, as it invests in expertise to elevate the industry dialogue and future-proof brands by unlocking marketing growth through truly integrating marketing data, technology and analytics into marketing strategy and execution. This role is critical to the client's success, by providing leadership and consultancy to clients by defining and delivering against their data strategy through a road-map for data and tech development that supports business goals, and ensures they are set up for a future facing approach to consumer-centric marketing.

Their approach to data and technology is anchored in a clear view of our client’s business objectives and its customer and audience strategy, enabling the design and delivery of that strategy across key consumer journey touchpoints, including media. It is part of a global consultancy network, and locally delivers ongoing advisory to an FMCG brand. It now faces strong growth to meet client demands to manage digital transformations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consultancy to clients on best-in-class approach to data and tech development
- In-depth understanding of client objectives and state in data and tech maturity
- Working closely with clients and internal teams to lead client assessments and the development and delivery of data strategy road-map
- Lead evaluation of data partner quality and performance
- Elevate wider agency base knowledge and implications of key industry challenges for client strategies
- Collaboration with and actively manage workflows into global Mediabrands Data and Tech

**Core Abilities**:

- Solid understanding of the role of different technology platforms, and overall benefits of key technology partners/stack approaches and how these impact the data strategy.
- Strong digital media/marketing background with a clear understanding of digital processes from strategy, planning to delivery and evaluation is essential.
- Cross-channel knowledge including role of owned channels and a robust understanding of the planning and activation considerations across digital
- A strategic, problem-solving mindset
- The ability to explain complexity in a simple language
- Strong analytical skills and capacity to clearly evaluate data considering client objectives and media focuses
- Collaborative and partnership focused
- Strong project management and client management skills

- Extensive experience in data and technology solutions for clients
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the field of data and technology
- A track record of moving projects from concept through to implementation
- An ability to work in agile environments
- Experience in working with a C-suite client group
- The ability to pull together and manage across functional team to deliver outcomes
