The Social Worker / Caseworker is responsible for supporting women and children who have experienced family violence through their periods of crisis and transiting them successfully back into the community. This is done through professional assessments, relevant interventions and partnerships with other professionals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage a case load of 25-35 clients on average per month.
- Conduct case management interventions for individual client or family.
- Interview and do intake assessments on individual's or family's suitability to stay in the centre.
- Establish linkage with external organisations and professionals who can provide the resources or services needed by the client(s).
- Regularly assess the client(s)' progress and to keep relevant documents and records of all sessions.
- Develop the individualized Care Plan collaboratively with the individual client or family, with inputs from relevant family members and other professionals who are involved in helping them.
- Provide crisis management and support to clients and support staff when needed.
- Attend staff meetings, case consultations, case conferences as required.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Centre Director.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Keen interest in working with families and children
- Ability to effectively handle crisis situations
- Active listening skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player

**Location**:
North-eastern Singapore (Serangoon district)
