Act as an advisor for the company’s interest in terms of legal matters and contracts in accordance to the established standards of the legal profession
- Review documents/contracts and render legal advice including implementation and execution
- Conduct and assist in negotiation of contracts including drafting of documents
- Co-ordinate with and advise other departments such as finance and transactions to ensure legal compliance
- Co-ordinate with external parties on legal matters such as legal claims, law suits to ensure proper legal defence and prosecution of such matters
- To periodically provide a report on updated legal matters and cases
- Acting as Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant and applicable laws
- Act as an in-house legal counsel for associates to clarify legal questions, disputes, etc under the relevant laws and regulations relating to the industry
- To periodically provide ad-hoc legal trainings
- To liaise with relevant parties and/or authorities to investigate and resolve disciplinary cases
- To liaise with relevant authorities on current and new regulatory matters including involvement in implementation and execution throughout the company
- Any ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Master or Degree in Law
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
- Strong professional written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong analytical mind
- Knowledge and experience in the real estate industry is a great advantage
