Workplace & Procurement Manager

**Purpose**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Workplace team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and managing the existing members of the Workplace team, you will help make the difference and contribute to the successful design and transformation of our workplace, and provisioning of associating services, to deliver an exceptional experience to our visitors, and employees in a hybrid operating model setting, as well as safeguarding their health, safety and security.

You will be our champion for sustainability, and partner with our very own ZPlaneteers, as well as other like-minded enablers, to develop an eco-oriented culture within the business unit, and achieve our sustainability aspiration and our climate commitment to support a 1.50C future.

You will work closely with our contract owners and other stakeholders, to manage our strategic solution / service providers’ onboarding and adherence to Zurich’s third party governance framework, and safeguard our compliance to the relevant procurement, sourcing and information governance policies and protocols.

**Experience and attributes**:

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent); First aider, and Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health preferred but not essential
- 8 years of experience in sustainability, travel and procurement management, and design and delivery of workplace services and solutions to senior executives, and appropriately 200 or more occupants
- Hands-on, open minded with can do attitude
- Problem solver, with the ability to anticipate needs and plan for contingency
- Meticulous, rigorous with detail, whilst having a clear appreciation of the big picture
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and see work through to completion with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to go the extra mile (and potentially operate out of office hours) is key
- Team player, with effective communication and presentation skills

**Job Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for all office, facilities, health and safety, sustainability, sourcing and other relating control governance matters
- Support the effective design and delivery of strategic / tactical change initiatives and continuous improvement office projects
- Strive to deliver an exceptional workplace and executive support experience to achieve high employee satisfaction on workplace
- Ensure our pantry and supply cabinets are well stocked, and support the onboarding and training of new joiners
- Manage the budget, activity planning and high standard service delivery of the workplace team and service providers
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to achieve the specified service level agreement
- Operate as the incountry business partner for Zurich’s employee self service app and travel booking services
- Ensure all areas of the operation are compliant with local legislation and Zurich’s standards for health, safety, security and sustainability, and conduct review and appropriate refinement of the incountry policy / procedure on a regular basis
- Support fire drill, first aid, and BCP activities

**Business Accountabilities**:

- Steer the business unit to achieving its sustainability commitment
- Leverage the learnings and best practices on workplace sustainability to develop campaign / initiatives, and promote the necessary awareness and cultural development for employees
- Develop and maintain the relevant third party governance policy / procedure for the business unit
- Oversee / support the assessment, onboarding and ongoing review of suppliers / partners at Zurich’s third party and expense management platforms to the required compliance standard
- Lead the relevant governance / working committees, and coordinate activities to safeguard the necessary controls for third party, sustainability and information governance, and support the preparation and presentation of the relevant management information
- Gather feedback and insight to support continuous service improvement
