Job Responsibilities

Special Projects Leadership:

- Conceptualize and lead special projects to enhance operational efficiency, drive customer excellence, and achieve commercial viability within the Sales and MICE departments.
- Form cross-functional teams comprising members from Sales and MICE departments to support project objectives and deliverables.

Project Management:

- Manage key milestones to ensure project timelines are met and operational deployment occurs within targeted deadlines.
- Prepare Position Papers to articulate project objectives, strategies, and deliverables effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including convention center management, event planners, and technology vendors.
- Understand project requirements and expectations, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.

Administrative Support:

- Organize and maintain a comprehensive file system, including correspondence and records related to special projects.
- Compile statistical reports and prepare presentation materials as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and represent Marina Bay Sands in a positive and professional manner.

Mentorship and Leadership:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to MICE Innovation Executive, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback and support professional development.

Innovation and Sustainability:

- Champion special projects and initiatives aimed at driving innovation in the MICE industry, including sustainability initiatives and digital transformation strategies.
- Collaborate with the appointed MICE Taskforce to develop and execute strategic initiatives promoting growth and sustainability.

Industry Awareness
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in convention center management and event technology.
- Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance departmental capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification
- Minimum Diploma education

Experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Other Prerequisites
- Good and clear communication skills, both written and oral
- Well-groomed and professional disposition
- Attention to detail, task-orientated
- High adaptability and flexibility
- Have excellent time management, organization and collaboration skills
- A team player as well as the ability to work independently
- Warm, friendly, positive, and able to work well with others
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
