A Carousell internship is unlike any other. Our interns are quick on their feet, resourceful, adaptable and learn a heck of a lot in a short amount of time. If you're looking to make an impact and get your hands dirty with a myria share this launch with an intern hoping to gain extensive experience when it comes to brand buildind of opportunities, this is the adventure for you.

This is a **3-4 months internship position.** You should be able to **commit on a full-time basis (5 days each week and, 8 hours a day)**.

Forward-thinking, fast-paced company looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms
- especially TikTok.

The intern hired for this position will need strong creative skills, thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team, who are very excited tog.

**You will**

**1/ Create content for TikTok and growth our following**
- Trend research: Keep a pulse on internet trends and share with the team weekly and utilise trends to inform content creation
- Content creation
- Plan and produce weekly branded content for Carousell's TikTok
- Generate and brainstorm engaging ideas for TikTok together with design, brand, and country marketing teams
- Develop share-able videos and write snappy TikTok captions
- Social and community management
- Schedule posts
- Community management to grow our following
- Replying to comments and messages from users
- Social media analytics: Analyse data and use data and insights to improve content

**2/ Growth hacking for Gen Z**
- Strategize growth hacks for the Gen Z audience segment - Liaise with Tik Tokers and manage them for any related campaigns
- Lead and drive partnerships with tertiary institutes - develop ideas and build relationships with student groups to drive usage of Carousell and brand love amongst tertiary students

**3/ General campaign support**
- Campaign support: Besides Tiktok, you'll be supporting the brand and local marketing team with campaigns across several markets and help oversee that best practices and timelines are met.

**You Have**:

- Basic video editing skills are a must (phone video editing)
- Must be a digital native who is on top of trends and pop culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong project management skills and ability to adhere to tight timelines
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Cultural sensitivity to work in a regional role with different country teams
- Proactive and can-do attitude
- Strong interest in brand, marketing, consumer trends, and technology
- Preference for students studying marketing and/ or communications but not mandatory.
- Previous internship experience in marketing, advertising, or communications is a plus but not mandatory.
- Has strong internet connection
- Willing to work from home
