Cloud Architect

We are looking for a passionate and professional Cloud Architect to join our Technology Architecture & Policy team to develop Singapore Pools' Cloud vision, strategy and architecture.

**What You'll Do**
- You will develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
- You will partner with key stakeholders and proactively consult to projects regarding Cloud Architecture concerns and direction including the deployment of cloud services, automation and continuous delivery pipelines
- You will utilize or develop reference architectures that fit within the overall architectural blueprint for Cloud Architecture.
- You will participate in Architecture Reviews as required to promote alignment to Cloud Architecture requirements.
- You will establish best practices for cloud across the company
- You will lead analysis of complex production support issues that are related to Cloud Architecture.
- You will assess new technologies and develop solutions appropriate to business requirements for Cloud Architecture, and that leverage architecture standards.
- You will actively support scalability, skills transfer and organizational change management by ensuring Cloud Architecture members are rotated to promote cross-training and professional development.

**Who You Are**
- You have a Degree Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science / Related IT Discipline
- You are certified in AWS Cloud Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect, TOGAF
- You have a minimum 10 years of experience in multiple IT disciplines, including 5 years in building a cloud infrastructure and architecture discipline in a large enterprise and 2+ years in architecting & integrating PaaS, IaaS SaaS, DaaS for the enterprise
- You are able to demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
- You are able to demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes
- You are able to demonstrate knowledge of Security on Cloud
- You have a proven track record of translating organizational strategy into actionable cloud technology solutions that drive operational excellence while enabling synergistic growth and organizational scale
- You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams within and outside of IT

Singapore Pools was established by the Government on 23 May 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting to counter illegal gambling. As a not-for-profit organisation, all of Singapore Pools' surplus is channeled to Tote Board to fund a wide range of causes in social service, community development, sports, the arts, education and health. Currently, Singapore Pools contributes about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties, and for the funding of good causes.
