**About the Role**

**What will I do?**
- Provide overall leadership, design and project management for aviation planning related projects. This will include client liaison, design management, quality management, programming, reporting and cost control.
- Schedule work to meet deadlines, setting and monitoring budgets and resourcing and controlling expenditure to meet project targets and profitability.
- Through collaboration and the use of strong interpersonal skills you will manage the development of team members by providing guidance, training, and motivation.
- Extend relationships with existing key clients to enable an expansion of strategic business opportunities for the team.
- Business development in related areas of aviation, airport planning and airside planning including involvement in the Arup Market groups.

**What will I bring?**
- At least 8 years’ relevant industry experience in Airport Design Management, Planning and Airside Planning within a consulting business environment.
- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Transport Planning, Airport Planning or similar area.
- Chartered Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Intuitive (to client needs as well as the project context) and creative in developing win-win solutions.
- Operational experience in airside environments including airside security clearance.
