Summary
In this role, you will be reporting to Head of Logistics & Intermodal, Asia Regional Office.
As part of the Intermodal team, you will be responsible for the management and commercial development of port to inland activities within the APAC region to achieve carrier haulage target.
In addition, you will be responsible for driving the intermodal revenue margin and new product launch to enhance the Group’s inland network coverage by conducting analysis based on market demands and existing volume to identify new inland and value-added services opportunities.
**Main Responsibilities**:
Lead and drive overall volume and profitability for the region
Focal point of contact accountable to HO for all matters relating to Asia Intermodal development and performance
Strategize country specific action plans to increase intermodal volume and revenue per country
Initiate new product launch campaign with countries and marketing team for promotional materials and tools
Partner with Lines and/or Trade teams to increase intermodal volume and in alignment with the market condition and pricing
Promote intermodal products through Global Accounts, IFF and/or Sales teams to generate incremental volume
Conduct weekly performance analysis and monitor respective countries for any significant deviation from target and to identify next course of action
Keep abreast of market trends, equipment situation and changes in transport costs to review intermodal pricing
**Minimum Requirements**:
Diploma or Degree in maritime business / logistic or supply chain related studies
At least 5 years of working experience in shipping industry
**This role is only opened for local employment only.
