**Your day to day**:

- Prepared to help guests at all times - build and maintain positive relationships with all customers and guests in order to exceed their needs; take action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations - Look Professional - maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of Room Division employees - Communication with guests and colleagues - coordinates exchange of pertinent information between departments within the Rooms Division and directs exchange of information with other departments, notably, Engineering and Security; communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information related to the expected arrival and departure of VIP’s and other key guests, or other special guest needs. - Work Relationship with Colleagues - work effectively with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries, and recognize and develop the potential of yourself and your direct reports - Responsible for Work Area - assumes overall responsibility for maintaining presentation standards to ensure facilities and equipment are clean, in good repair and well maintained - Know the Brand - create a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers by championing hotel brand standards; promotes Inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities
**What we need from you**:

- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to - Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories - Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers - Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job - You’ll have a high school diploma or qualification; a college or university degree would be a bonus, but not essential Experience - ideally you’ll have spent at least one year in a front office or guest service position; food and beverage (barista/bartender) would an edge but not essential - Strength - sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg), which can involve bending and kneeling
